Account Inactivity
Within 48 hours of account creation, there must be an index page (a construction page is acceptable) on your website. By failing to do so, you will be risking account termination. The default DirectAdmin landing page is not acceptable.
A proper index page must be put on your website within 1 week of account creation unless an Administrator has been notified. Failure to do so will also risk account termination.
A website has to have at least 10 visitors a month, or else it will be terminated for inactivity.
File Storing
izFree prohibits the usage of our free hosting services for the sole purpose of file storage or hotlinking from other websites.
If the distributor of a certain file or package states within the license that the file or package may not be distributed without first obtaining permission from the distributor, please refrain from attempting to distribute the file or package.
While izFree does allow users to create a gallery and upload pictures into it for sharing purposes, we do not entertain websites with the sole purpose of file, image or video sharing.
Website Usage
izFree strictly prohibits the usage of our free hosting services for illegal purposes or for reasons where it is found that such content may, without reasoning, be hazardous to the performance of our Network software.
Such content includes, but is not limited to:
- Galaxytool (This is fine if you have a proper website that comes along with it)
- Hacks/Cracks
- RapidLeech, RapidGet
- Warez
- Torrent Trackers
- HYIP, PTC (Pay-to-Click)
- Spamming, Phishing
- IRC, Proxies
- Copyright Infringements
- Adult Content
- Child Pornography
- File/Image/Video Hosting
- Resource Heavy Scripts (e.g. Social Networking Scripts)
We also prohibit the use of our free hosting services for opening online mafia RPG games as they use a lot of resources through crons and many users want to run their own mafia RPG games.
Resource Usage
Any action or script performed or executed on your account that generates high CPU or RAM usage is not allowed as it will affect the overall performance of the server, thus affecting the other users as well.
Such actions or scripts include, but are not limited to:
- Cron jobs that are executed more often than once per 15 minutes or generating a lot of CPU load
- Sending of a huge number of emails within a short period of time
- Any scripts that run in the background on the server
- Outdated and insecure websites and/or scripts that are easily abused or hacked
- Socket usage
Failure to comply would result in suspension or termination depending on the seriousness of the abuse.
Liability
While izFree does make occasional backups of the entire server, the responsibility lies primarily on the user himself/herself to make frequent backups of his/her website. izFree will not be liable for any possible damages or losses with regards to your website.
Conclusion
Failure to comply to any of the above terms will result in possible account suspension or termination of your free hosting account with izFree without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
